There is also plenty of international food if you tire of having tapas. Benidorm is all high rise buildings having been planned to get as many accommodation units into the area as possible. If you manage to get one of those high rise apartments then there are great views out over the Med. There are some nice tree-lined avenues to walk around in the centre. Having a car will let you get out and about to the theme and water parks which surround Benidorm. You can also take a trip of about an hour down the coast to the vibrant city of Valencia.

The autopista is the A7 which is easy accessible but once you have got to the centre of town walking will suffice. The main airport is at Alicante and you can catch flights there from most of the major cities in Europe.
