Book Car Hire Paris Airport
With more than 60,000 regular passengers, Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport is one of the busiest and biggest airports in the world. Paris-Charles de Gaulle is a three terminal Airport and terminal two was built exclusively for Air France flights. One of the biggest controversies to occur at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport was when terminal two collapsed in 2004 killing four people. Inquiries were started and the architect who designed terminal two, Paul Andreu, was also responsible for building a terminal in Dubai which collapsed during construction. In 2008 the terminal was rebuilt. Because it is such a big terminal it is split into many different parts including 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F. By contrast terminal three is made up of only one long hall. Some of the flights you can catch from terminal one, the oldest terminal, are low cost UK flights with Flybe to Belfast City, Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Glasgow International, Jersey, Manchester and Southampton. Alternatively you can go with Lufthansa to Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Milan Malpensa, Munich or Scandinavian Airlines System to Copenhagen, Oslo Gardermoen and Stockholm Arlanda. From terminal two there are American Airlines flights to Boston, Chicago O'Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, Miami and New York John F Kennedy from 2A. 2B has Easyjet flights to Barcelona, Bastia, Biarritz, Bristol, Edinburgh, Geneva, Glasgow-International, Ibiza, Krakow, Lisbon, Liverpool, London Luton, Newcastle upon Tyne, Nice, Porto, Tangier and Venice Marco Polo. Terminal three has seasonal flights with Jet4U.com to Agadir, Casablanca and Marrakech. Many cargo airlines fly from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport.
